Global VR Need for Speed

Fixing a computer out of need for speed and can't install cds. Does computer need to be in the cabinet to install. Tried install of need for speed and gt version and hangs up with a cabinet data error?

you can run restore disks with just pc and dongle connected,make sure you have the usb A to B connected onto the Nytric card though
