Few wei-ya chassis/isolation transformer questions
« on: November 10, 2014, 06:06:35 pm »
I purchased a wei-ya chassis to throw on a TV tube I have laying around.  I just have a few questions about it.

I bought an isolation transformer to hook up inline on the power plug.  Ive searched and searched how to hook this thing up.  It has 4 hookup points, two on a coil labeled primary, two on one labeled secondary.  Not sure if the inputs go on the primary coil or one on each?

Also either it didn't come with, or I lost (more than likely) the ground strap and degaussing wire.  I used an old ground strap but would I have any issues using a degaussing wire from another TV?

Thanks for any help!
