Has anyone built 2 Vigolix? I'd like to build a vert and horizontal
Vigo:
Didn't do vert and horizontal, but I did do 2 "matching" cabs.

If I used the same Dell 1901FB monitor in each, does the bezel look to wide on the sides when I mount the monitor vertically? Do I have to sacrafice marquee space?

Just make the vertical cabinet skinnier.

Vigolix cabs were designed for 17 inch monitors though. You'd have to mod the plans to make it fit.

There isn't much to them though so you can modify them on the fly as you build.
I've picked up a flight stick from the late 80's at a thrift store (has a game port adapter on it) which means it's built fairly solid.
Same with my steering wheel from the the same era.
I could crank a few of these out using dedicated controls for each type of game.
I was building a cab out of pressure treated for my back porch.
got busy and when I had time to work on it again I wondered what id do with it in the winter since it's heavy as heck and while it's rough finish goes with the deck it will look like hell in the house. :)
My solution, vigolix bar top that slips into the cabinet on the porch when I have an outdoor party & can be easily brought in at night or the winter.
