| Jamma cards? |

I just ordered a 600 in 1 jamma card and the wiring harness to play around with. Any insight? I have build a few mame cabs but all with PC's. The jamma cards almost look too good to be true. Will it retain high score? Are they customizable? One good thing it looked like like is that the player can not mess up the config with one. Sort of make your cab dummy proof. What would be great if the carts could be built with custom roms and used that way. |

Honestly, those are questions you should have considered before ordering. Is there more than one 600 in 1 jamma board? I don't know, but if you are asking for advice maybe a picture are brand of the one you ordered? |

Most XXX-in-1 jamma boards do not store high scores once the game has been exited. There are a few that do however (so I hear, I have never seen one myself) |

Did you mean 60 in 1? As far as saving high scores, the 60 in 1 does but it will only save the scores, not the names you enter. Everything is configured in the service menu. D |

It was on sale for 100 so I figured it was worth tinkering with. The one I purchased was from [company name removed per rule 5] - they have many types. It sounded great not having to go with a full PC and Mame to piece together an arcade so I figured I would check one out. |
