Has anyone used this version on the 4000 series cards.  I am hoping to get some feedback I will be using this with my MS-2931 monitor.

Works great with my 4350, so far (only recently upgraded to latest version). Only problem I've noticed is that videos in MaLa are very flaky. They usually play very choppy with a reduced fame rate, but sometimes they play fine. I have no idea if this has anything to do with CRT emudriver v2, though.

Just bought a 5450 for my next MAME rig, on the advice of Calamity.  :) Be interested to see if I still get the video issue.

Good to hear.  I am using Hyperspin with groovymame.   I guess using bezels is still not an option right?

Yes I get this too.
I've tested both a HD5970 and a HD4670 and am finding that I get low FPS animation in menu scrolling, themes, and videos in Hyperspin. It appears to happen mainly in interlaced resolutions, specifically 640x480 which is what HS is set to. It also happens on the desktop, which is also 640x480, and is particularly noticeable when you drag windows around. Problem doesn't occur if I select progressive resolution. Problem also doesnt occur if I uninstall CRT_Emudriver.

I havent been able to pinpoint the cause. When I was testing HD5970 I initially thought perhaps it was GPU's downlocking because of Powerplay feature, but I disabled ULPS and Powerplay and forced consistent clocks with MSI Afterburner and results were still the same. Then tested HD4670 and getting same results.

Just as a side note, I tried installing CCC only, after CRT Emudriver (as another had tried) but it wouldnt install. I wanted to try to get it to install so I could play with some settings and see if I could pin down the low FPS issue.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, both cards have had BIOS's modded with ATOM-15.

Interesting. My problem is in interlaced mode too, but I haven't tried it in a progressive mode, TBH. I haven't flashed my BIOS with ATOM-15. I also tried to install CCC to have a poke around, but failed.
