There are ways to reasonably use a 46" display. The machine pictured has a 40" but larger would be OK. plasmas have been used for Virtual pin playfields many times, just need to provide ventilation. A lot of those guys have 200mm fans on the back of the cabs for that reason. |

Cool. I saw a number of threads that talk about older plasmas having issues with being laid flat, but this is, I believe, a 2008 or so model. So, reasonably new. A pin playfield is likely where it'll go, but who knows! Thanks for the info, guys! |

plasmas emit a butload of infrared radiation. you'll have to cool the hell out of it so it doesn't overheat. |

A plasma that size is 4-500W I guess? Really a lot compared to a modern LED. Although, colors on a good plasma can be awesome, and the black level is typically much better than cheap LCDs as well. |

Yeah colors are supposedly better, plus the viewing angle is fantastic on this thing. That's why I'm leaning toward pincab.. |
