Hello everyone, i'm from Paris FRANCE sorry for my english !
This thread is not translated fully in english sorry

I just got 3 cabinest MK in 1 month i'm lucky  :angel:

Problems encountered MKI
  • Monitor doesn't start anymore
  • Dead wiring jamma
  • Sidearts dead
  • Wood in very bad condition and lot of holes
Works before done
  • A big cleaning
  • Change all the sidearts
  • Change the wiring
  • Wood filler
  • Change ths buttons ans joysticks
  • Changing t-molding
  • Repaint the wood
  • Many other things ...

- MKII before restoration

  • - Sideart L/R not bad but discolored :(
  • - Need a wood working
  • - Plexiglass and buttons joysticks in bad condition
  • - Front CPO/side CPO print
  • - A big cleaning
  • - Missing x2 locks


Etat correct mais le plus important ce sont les sidearts introuvable sur le net ! Il y a des repro mais il manque les nuages  donc c'est bien vilain ...

That is normal. It's a glitch. Great job on the cleanups! Here is the MK1 service switch...

Current collection - 28 cabs, 4 pins. (32 machines and not enough room)

You're welcome. The sound effect of the spear hitting the opponent cancels the "Get Over Here." There is no fix at the moment.

Hello,

My chassis from my MKI doesn't start anymore (Wells gardner K7000 + Monitor Zenith) (Already try a capkit and change the flyback)
Anyone know if i can adapt another chassis like Hantarex on it, it's possible ? I try to find one chassis compatible.

Wow, namsam! Your photos and documentation of this fantastic restoration job is exactly what I've been looking for! I have a lot to learn about repairing my Mortal Kombat 2 machine, but this gives me a bit of a guide. Thanks for posting this.
