Rowe R-86 transfer arm getting caught on turntable on the way up. I was adjusting the opto and the the machine started playing very fast (which it stopped doing) and now every time I play a record it catches on the turntable , I then have to pull off the turntable and the transfer arm goes back in place.

Any ideas

Thanks Gregg

Hi Gregg,

I can't tell much from your picture it will not enlarge and it takes you to another site asking for a password.

The problem will be that the grommet is missing from the gripper bow side bracket, allowing the gripper bow to drop down and causing it to jam.

Regards
Alan
