I ordered mine from T-molding.com. You could have them send you some samples. http://www.t-molding.com/store/home.php?cat=13 |

I have a suggestion about the buttons layout. I assume the main 6 buttons are mainly for fighting game, correct ? I usually use my 2nd, middle, and ring fingers for the 3 buttons. from what I see, the placement of the 2nd finger is a little higher and a little slope down to the ring finger... you might want to do a print out, and try to fit your hands on the control. I think your right wrist might have to be twisted clockwise a bit to fit this control... if you play for a while, it might be tiring for your right wrist... what I ended up doing is sort of rotating your 6 buttons counter-clockwise a little bit. I find it feels better. hope it helps !! |

Looks good with the revised background. The problem with the first was that it was too dark when compared to the Ninja turtles. The grey is lighter and contrasts well. If you decide to change it to manholes, just make sure the color is lightened. P.S. - I'm a big fan of Eastman/Laird as well and their style of art. Technically if you want to be true to the original TMNT, you should alter the masks in Photoshop to ALL be red. The different colored masks were the "commercialized versions" used to market them better after they rebooted the franchise. DeLuSioNaL29 |

DeLuSioNaL29 --- End quote --- Yeah, I am aware of everyone being red in the original. Unfortunately, the main inspiration for my theme is the TMNT arcade game, which has them blue/orange/purple/red. So I am sticking to the commercialized color scheme, as it also offers a little more variety for the theme :) I think probably like 2% of the people who will be playing this with me will know the original colors of the turtles, so I'm not too concerned with staying true to the comics. It also helps with the new colors, since I am planning my buttons to be blue and orange no this main panel. I am hoping to pick up some MDF next week some time, so I can get started on the fun part! I will definitely post some pics when I start making progress! |
