--- Quote from: Desdinova ---Per your request for missing dual stick games on this thread.... http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,140690.0.html Some of these used analog sticks (Cyber Commando and CyberSled, not sure if you're counting those in that list, but here's what you're missing on the wiki currently... --- End quote --- Thanks for all the good suggestions listed below. :applaud: I've updated my earlier post to reflect that dual analog stick games like Cyber Sled and T-Mek are here with the other analog stick games. Added the following to the dual-stick digital and analog games lists: 2/4/8-Way (Digital) Inferno (Williams) Libble Rabble Sarge Tank 8 Ultra Tank *** Added notes to indicate which games like Battlezone require buttons or trigger sticks -- almost half of them. ;D Analog Cyber Commando -- sequel to Cyber Sled ;D Cyber Tank (4 analog axes -- P1 steering/acceleration and P2 machine gun X/Y) Unsorted/Unconfirmed Heavyweight Champ 3-axis analog game -- looks like one axis controls left/right body positon, one controls left punch, and one controls right punch. Any suggestions on what to file this one under? :dizzy: Not sure what control setup would work well for it. :dunno --------------- Any more suggestions for dual-stick games? Scott |

--- Quote from: big10p on August 16, 2014, 07:21:43 am ---I'd keep matching sticks for each player, and then just decide between your opponent and yourself which player to be, before starting the game. I definitely wouldn't mix-and-match the sticks. --- End quote --- If the options are only those two sticks listed. I'm of the opposite opinion. The MAJORITY of games are only going to use one stick. If you use one LS32 and one 360 per user then you have the luxury of using the LS32 for shmups or fighters and the 360 for games that use 49-way/analog. When playing dual stick games they might not feel 100% the same, but I guess that depends on how sensitive you are to that sort of thing. the 360 is a great stick because of its versatility. A lot of people don't like them for certain things as they don't feel 100% like the arcade version of <insert stick here> stick. I happen to have a bunch of 49-way sticks, so I'm using those in my build for a two-player dual-stick control panel. But, if I didn't have those I might well have gone with 4 360s. I used one for the mini-cabinet and I don't mind/enjoy the feel, especially with the octagon restrictor. Just my 2 cents. |

That's why I posted another thread about distances from joysticks to push buttons, just wanted to know if I can have both joysticks use same push buttons, but "purists" went coo-coo with their rhetorics. |
