I do it all the time, especially with side-scrollers. I also don't run HLSL because, quite frankly, I don't feel like I need to fake myself out and pretend that I'm using a CRT when I'm not. Some people just like playing games, dude. --- End quote --- I've got advancemame .106 running on a p3 1.2ghz with 512mb of ram, on-board sis video & Linux on a $20 19" 4:3 LCD I bought at the good will & i haven't had to tweak anything. I have had to play with resolutions because i'm using a scanline generator & even though i'm tossing a low res game out to a high res monitor dig dug still looks really really good. |
