just to add (we have bought and used a bunch of these units)...

the unit comes by default set to 15k... but it upscales the video to output VGA out of the DB15 connector. so even though your monitor says it's running at 640x480, it's upscaled.

be sure to flip the dip switch #1 to switch the output from 15k upscaled to VGA to ACTUAL VGA.
