| How did you latch/lock your cocktail top? |

I would use just a simple cam lock on the side of the cabinet that has a hook latch instead of a regular bar (like a toolbox camlock). Then just a catch on the cocktail top that the hook can grab. That way you need a key to get in, and you can't open it when locked. Super simple. |

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I need to do it right... it took me a while but I found some of the cam locks with hooks on ebay. If they don't work, I also like the idea of a simple security pin keeping it shut. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DELUXE-CAM-LOCK-2-KEYS-LONG-ARM-HOOK-TRIM-RING-NUT-WOOD-SPUR-EXTRAS-/281237514089?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item417b0fe769 EDIT: I'm being stupid. I have a container full of locks. I'll just dremel a hook out of a couple of tha cams. Problem solved. |
