OMG that is a BIG PROJECT. I hope you are very experienced in every aspect of arcade machines if you plan to attempt this build. Just my 2cents. good luck! |

thanks for the posts guys.... hopefully shouldn't be to hard to get the build using autoCAD and then a CNC cutter for the woodwork. I have a replica DK cabinet so I'm sure with the help from the guys here then hopefully find the resources I need. I'm in the UK so finding a TRON cabinet to help will be almost impossible. Once the shells are done the fun will be the insides, but going to get the shells built first. Any other fans/owners can help? |

also anyone know where I can buy replica controls for the panels? ok found them... http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=319 just need the tracker ball or spinner!! |

Depending on which tron game you want to play you may need a push/pull spinner: http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=86&products_id=311 Also, not sure if you know already, but if you can't find a "real" tron joystick that replica handle will fit on the Happ Heavy Duty sticks: http://na.suzohapp.com/amusement_products/joysticks&R=16&S=TS&FILTER_NAME=JOYSTICK_TYPE&FILTER_VALUE=Heavy%20Duty%20Joystick&FILTER_UOM= Cheers! |

--- Quote from: jennifer on August 09, 2014, 08:44:26 pm --- That's a good start, But Id have to say its over simplified.... A Tron cab is a very complex build. Just saying you may want to look @ a real one before you start that project. --- End quote --- It's about right for the wood cuts, now finding a shroud and the curved light covers, and everything thing else - that's the trick of it. |
