SNES on mess in mala

I m trying to get my snes roms to work in mess. But they wont start up, i had no problems with nes and genesis roms. The snes just wont start. Any ideas what i could be doing wrong?

What's the command line you are feeding to MESS?

Have you tried running directly from the command line?  If it works from the command line but not within the FE then it's obviously a problem with the flags you are sending.  Sorry if this sounds overly simplistic, but starting from the bottom and working up tends to work.

There is my other problem with MESS, when i double click the mess icon. i get a message first starting MESS but t doesnt find the roms. With MAME you see the roms and can start them from there.
