Don't you have an electronics shop or a car audio shop around your area?  These are VERY common connectors.  They would be called 4.8mm male spade crimp terminals or quick disconnects.  The 4.8mm will fit both 4.8 and 6.3mm female terminals.

A quick google search showed them on the amazon uk site for pretty cheap for a box of 50 or 100..

You will need some kind of crimper to attach them to a wire, but those are easy and cheap to find too.

D'oh, my mistake...I was searching specifically for quick disconnects, a quick google for male spade crimp terminals actually does bring up a lot of results, as you said. Now I know the title to use!

I'll grab a pack along with a crimper and see where that gets me :) Thanks.
