Video Games The Movie
« on: July 17, 2014, 10:46:42 am »
A great montage of arcade and console related pictures.   The movie tries to cover the rise and fall of arcade machines as well as consoles and video games effect on our current society.   Covers the development of the first arcade machines and the many consoles from the intellevison and coleco to the current playstation 4 and the xbox 360.  Most of us will identify with many of the machines and games shown. 3.5 out of 5

Did you watch this on Netflix or cable or what? For movies that weren't summer blockbusters, I would enjoy a link.

It's also on iTunes and they'll be doing a blue ray. It was a kickstarter project https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mediajuicestudios/video-games-the-movie. 3.5 out of 5 is about right, worth a watch. A little boring in spots where they just cut a whole bunch of game footage together and play music over the top.
