Isolation Transformer wiring help!
(1/3) > >>
KonkeyKong:
This is from a Taito Frontline cab that was pretty much gutted when I got it.  I'd like to be able to use the isolation transformer to just power the monitor. It's not a basic iso as it's got 6 input wires.  I've tried several configurations with no success.  I can't for the life of me figure out how 1 & 2 get connected with 3,4,5,6,7,8.
pbj:
Run a cord from the outlet in your wall to pins 1 and 2.

Get out the multimeter and touch pairs of pins until you find two that give you 120VAC.

5&3 or 8&6

good day.
KonkeyKong:
Chopper - made perfect sense, but both combos blew fuses...
chopperthedog:
1&2 are your supply (power from the wall) 5&3 or 8&6 will give you your isolated 120v.

good day.
