Agreed. It is dumb but funny. Shirley Jones in particular is a riot.

Chris Columbus is directing Pixels so I am hopeful it will be better than Sandler's latest movies. Anymore he tends to go off the rails when he makes a movie with one of his buddies as the director. I just hope they use mostly real games from the 80's ala Wreck it Ralph. For example a 3D vector version of Asteroids in one of the fight scenes could be awesome. Complete with the original sounds. If they create their own "new" retro video games for the movie I won't have much interest.

Apparently the promotional materials so far show Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Pong and Tetris. As for sounds.... :dunno
