| Are Seimitsu buttons a good alternative to Sanwa? |

I have a 1/2" thick control panel, which is too thick for the Sanwa screw buttons. I was going to drill out the bottom, but I see Seimitsu makes a longer screw button. Are they pretty comparable to Sanwa buttons? http://www.focusattack.com/seimitsu-ps-14-gn-screwbutton-white/ |
| amendonz:
yes, they are very similar really, just slightly flatter and less shiny finish. feel fairly close in terms of how hard you have to push them to activate the switch |

I have used them and they are great. Especially when paired with button silencers from FocusAttack.com :applaud: DeLuSioNaL29 |

They are good buttons, but I'm not so sure they will work with 1/2" either. I use the Seimitsu KN buttons which look to be about the same length. They are in a 1/2" panel, but it's routed out. I don't think I even considered trying it in the full thickness panel. I'm pretty sure it won't work, but I'll check when I get home. I'd contact focusattack and inquire before ordering. |

IMHO Seimitsu buttons are better than Sanwa. |
