--- Quote from: BobA on July 10, 2014, 09:06:06 am ---Where you show "not sure how to connect" cut the wires Black is ground and yellow is 12V. --- End quote --- This -- also I notice on your PSU it is an older design with a plug that can be used to plug the monitor cord in directly so no need for the splitter on the main cable -- just wire the PSU to the inlet switch and then plug the monitor cable into the plug on the PSU (it is wired so that it would be the same as the splitter (ie. will not effect the output of the PSU as it is a seperate circuit ) and the power going to the monitor will not lower the amperage available as out put from the PSU saving the cost of the splitter cable ) -- a Side benefit of doing it this way is when the PSU is off the monitor will also be off. |
