as a rule tan's do not :drift: until exposed to heat
but i tend to error on the safe side
and spec it to dead nut's as it were..
u have to under stand what it dose it >set's the horz freq and lock through a phase lock loop<..so bang on is better

So it needs to be measured with a ESR meter?

tan's are 90% always right on.
but good measure say' yes when u are buying them..
to remove 1 and test it? it is a 50/50..no need to guess

btw the clip u are looking for is called a >s< clip for fuse's
what ken is refering to is u can put in a pigtail and or a blade type fuse
the board make's it that way,until latter on in the serial # run
rickn was the lead eng on the g07/go8 stuff
nice guy and is chatty when u ask him q's

What value should the fuse be?

let me see if this will make it easier for u
btw there is 2 fuses used
1 is the main input fuse
the other is the b+ fuse
plus u might need a few resistor's,
these are 1 ohm job's and act as a fuse AFTER  the flyback
