I am running XP and it works perfectly for me. I did notice that it won't see dirs with "."s, maybe other charaters as well.

Maybe it's the file system type.... I've got my mp3 drive setup as ntfs for stabilities sake. Also I have an odd-ball drive letter.(g:) I hope that helps. For the record it scans fine when I manually enter a path.... it's like it can't see what drive it resides in.

I scaned my local C drive (NTFS) and that works. I also searched with Browse for Search Directory pointed at E drive (FAT32) and that worked as well. It did bring up, as mp3s, some dirs with mp3 in the name in both cases. I can't seem to reproduce your error.

I also pointed it at my G drive (NTFS) and it worked for me.
