| William coindoor repaint |

| jibmums:
I'm restoring a Williams coindoor and am going to try repainting it using Brian Kelly's method seen in the video below: flat or semi-flat black spray paint first, followed with spattering of gloss black paint, to replicate the original look. If anyone here has ever tried this method, I would like to hear any tips you may have, including what brand/type of spray paint used, as well as photos of the finished coindoor. thanks guys. |

Hammered black is the paint I use on coin doors. |

Hammertone is correct for some doors, like early 80's Taito Stratovox and such, but not this one. |

^^^ What they said. Hammered paint. Easy and looks real good. I don't think Ive ever seen a door without the hammered look, but I am definitely no expert. |
