Is that a Taxi or not  :applaud:

Great work you did on this one.
If that is the standard for the rest of you building process, then it's gonna be a ACE

Yup, that's some mighty intricate woodworking right there. Should be a real visual feast when it's done.

I like it.  Looks great from the front.  Going to be really neat once it's painted and the artwork is applied.

I understand...everybody needs his own solution...this work for me perfectly because I would have a build on the box door without a gap. So...it's ok...but for me I must need also a key now to open the backlightbox  :laugh2: ;D

I had a very similar idea for my lockdown bar on my theoretical Vpin cab, cant wait to see how you impliment it (might save me some design headaches)

I can't wait too , but for me it is now more important to find some solutions on other places....like the lower backdoor, the selfmade buttons,  and so on.... at first I must redesign my location of the Plunger. It is to close to the playfieldmonitor therefore...what do you think, is it a bad place or its ok? From here (red) to here (yellow)...

The best would have been to keep it where it is (Red). Is it any chance to build a mechanism that avoids the playfield monitor? Like some kind of angled plunger mechanism?

:banghead: the attachment and the monitor are to close to the middle of the hole for the Plunger.... I must decide between a functionally lighted button for "launchball" or a nonilluminated fakebutton for the Plunger that are maybe to close to the monitor.... :badmood:

@johnrt i think it's not possible ...to tiny and to close to the monitor for a mechanism like that  :-\  (at the beginning i thought the angle was enough but  for :soapbox: it isn't)

I get that you lose symmetry by moving it, but I think function is more important than form. So, I dont see the harm in having it lower.

Can you make a picture from the top of the cab, so I can see how much room you are talking about.
If I'm correct, you want the plunger on the left side of the right headlights and the launch button below in the orange light, or next to the plunger on the right?

You can place the plunger in the right orange light and the launch button in place where you had the plunger in mind. or do I missing something here ?

i can make this picture in 2 weeks...we have any birthdaypartys and no time to work :( ....but it was at first planned to integrated the plunger IN the "Glass" of the left headlight on the rightside.... im rethinking of this because its to less space there  and would replace it BETWEEN the yellow Button...make the headlight i would decided before, as a "start" or "launchball" button

For the "New" placed Plunger the symmetry is much better than the old place but not in mind as a pinballfront
