Burnout Paradise City "web" splash screen
« on: May 21, 2014, 12:15:39 am »
I've got the Origin version of Burnout Paradise City.

When the game loads, after the logos, it pops up a "white" splash screen (guessing it was a web page at one point...) that you have to use the mouse to close in the lower right corner.  Really annoying.

Any way to remove this?

thanks

Hopefully someone will post a direct way, but as a last resort an autohotkey script could be made to close it.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams has a "thanks for playing" window that pops up when you exit the game that I did an ahk script to automatically close.

I should fire up a web trace and see what it's actually looking for.  Maybe that's where the answer lies.
