| Kashyyyk:
I've been roaming the boards for some time, but not entirely computer savy. I am checking out a refurbished computer, HP, with the following: AMD Athlon II X2 processor 3.0GHz 4GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory (expandable to 16GB) 160GB SATA hard drive Integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 Graphics 10 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x audio-out jacks, 1 x microphone jack, 1 x RJ-45 Ethernet port, 1 x line-in jack, 1 x VGA port, 1 x parallel port, 1 x serial communication port, 2 x PS/2 ports 1 x PCI Express (x1) slot, 1 x PCI Express (x16) slot, 1 x 5.25" bay, 1 x internal 3.5" bay Genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit Edition I'm planning on building a stand up running hyperspin with mainly arcade, nes, snes, sega, and possibly some dreamcast if possible. Any help would be great and much appreciated! |

*I'd* buy more ram if its cheap enough. How much for the pc? Your best bet is to find the model number and search for how much it is currently selling for. |

You'll be fine for Hyperspin. I didn't see it mention in your spec, but you'll need to buy another/bigger HD in order to install everything. I suppose you could pick and choose, but the CHD set for MAME is over 300GB by itself. |

Thanks for the heads up on the hard drive. Computer is going just under 200 bucks. I've been computerless for a few years now, always using an iPad, so my last is totally busted and I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get a new one. |
