$69 + Shipping for the Standard.  This is a rip ( :lol )  considering you can do the same on any smartphone.  Most 2600s are toast anyway.

Besides its still a PITA to sort though the games on any emulator.

No ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---. That's along the same lines of saying that most Model T's are toast anyways.  ::)

I didn't have a large number of 2600 games.  My favorites over the long term 1982-1990 were Kaboom!, Omega Race, Super Breakout and Chopper Command.

My 7800 still works fine (though I haven't been playing it)
to me, the 2600 games are still best on a dedicated machine with original controllers.
by original controllers, I mean Atari Paddles and Genesis game pads.
Main problem to me is that its not as good on my flat screen.

I skipped the 7800 and held out for the Atari XE Deluxe. It was my first "computer"...wrote many a basic program on that puppy. Mom ordered it off the home shopping channel back in 1980 something. IIRC it was about a 250 buck system at the time. Upgraded to an "Apco" computer (Apple ][e clone) a time after.
