One of the greatest childhood victories I had as a child was shaking off the fear that plugging a sega genesis controller into my c64 would somehow fry it. I tried it, and the d-pad worked as well as the b-button. We (my brothers and I) had two lousy no-name joysticks we found somewhere in K-mart on clearance and one broke shortly after getting it. Now whoever had the genesis gamepad had a clear advantage... especially competitive games like Pit Stop II. |
