Also if you use an ipac, holding P1 start+ P1 joystick down = pause.

It is you who is going to be using it, regardless if it had eleven admin buttons on it.  You can always play around with button configuration at a later date.

Also I have to say that your woodwork is most excellent.  :applaud:  You definitely seem to have got a good handle on your vision, and I hope you will share pictures of the complete assembly.

The marquee, is better lighted with cold cathode tubes that you can hook up with your PC PSU.  They come in 12 and 5 volts and provide adequate lighting.  Activation can be done many ways, but I would go the simplest route and have it powered on during boot up.

Whatever you decide, will always be with some experiments.  If you have any problems let us know, just ignore the trolls that try to wind you.

about the upper buttons:
it was just a sketch drawing, none of my buttons actually does any of what is written in the picture i posted here
the realy functions for them is: (pc on\off - cp lights on\off - mame lightning on\off - sound on \ off - safety switch on\off)

and i understood i DO need a menu + pause buttons...
and really don't know where to put them...
i am using ipac 2... and if i can do a combination with the p1 start .. or somthing.. it would be awsome..

My reply was honest too. I gave you a few tips and even told you what "the one with the name of the machine that lights up" was called. :banghead:
