Spray Painting Plexiglass for Monitor

Pages: (1/1)

If I"m going to spray paint a piece of acrylic that will go over the monitor.  The question is:  I shouldn't spray paint such that it's completely flush with the LCD screen to the inner bezel of the monitor right?.  I'm thinking I should leave maybe 1/4 of an inch out from the LCD screen to inner bezel - that way if someone is standing at an angle to the side of the cab, the LCD screen won't be cut off by the plexiglass.

Thoughts?

Paint the back side of the acrylic and it shouldn't have that issue.

Remember to paint the design in reverse order if you have multiple colors. I was so tired when I painted my first piece of acrylic I forgot to paint it in reverse order. So now I have a white piece of acrylic with a nice pattern on the wrong side.

And before anyone asks, I can't flip it, it's shaped.

I'd leave a 1/4" if the inner bezel on the monitor is black.
