| how is your joystick mounted ? |

Here is how i mounted mine. I used a router thought. ;D You could du this with 2 thinner layers of mdf maybee? then you woud not need the router.(Get a router :applaud:) |

The only way to mount a joystick without using a router is to under mount (see FAQ) and use a longer shaft... |

For 3/4 MDF: I picked up one of these metal templates from Bob Roberts. Only $2 plus shipping. You simply line it up underneath and then mark your drill holes for the screws. You can then install the joystick bases from underneath the panel by first drilling a shallow pilot hole smaller than the actual screw. I used 1" long zinc plated wood screws from Home depot or Lowes at about $4 per 100. The size is #10. The box would then be marked 10 X 1. I've had my CP for years and they have never given me any issues. I believe NorthCoast customs has the same mounting method.
