PC and CRT power switch in 1 happ pushbutton?

PL1:
That leaves you with a DPST or DPDT switch/relay wired like this.

You add the green switch and red wires to the existing circuits.

The TV and computer circuits are mechanically connected, but electrically separate.

If you are worried about modifying the board, you could scrape back a little insulation and use micrograbber clips to connect.

If by that you mean connecting both power-switching circuits to a single-pole (arcade-style) microswitch, that is a really bad idea.  :dizzy:   It might damage your equipment . . . or worse.   :dunno

If you mean that you found a DPST (Double-Pole Single-Throw) or DPDT (Double-Pole Double-Throw) pushbutton that you plan on wiring like the diagram, then that's great.  ;D

Another option, if you happen to have an LED-Wiz in your future, would be to run wires from the momentary switch on your monitor to a tiny relay controlled by an LED-Wiz.  Then just issue a command to turn on the monitor at startup, or after your front-end is loaded.

I've got the grounds for 2 tvs and the pc all tied together on one side of an arcade button microswitch and the signal wires to all 3 components on the other. I wouldn't have believed this was possible, but with the advice of shakenbake, I tried it and it works fine. The one thing I notice is that you want to press the button for over half a second when turning on and off.
