I guess the answer for him is to run MAME in UME so it slows down? I'm sure he can hire someone to figure it out for him.

I was assuming he meant the auto frameskip kicks in, i've seen people describe that as 'way too fast' because it's skipping 10 frames all the time, even if it's actually too slow. Either way the N64 driver isn't something you want to be using for either home or arcade stuff, you might get away with some of the 2D titles like Tower & Shaft (arcade) in MAME, or Namco Museum (home) in Mame Plus / UME / MESS but that's your limit really.
As for the poster, I think it would be best to direct hate at the ---smurfy--- companies that are willing to take money for this kind of thing, I've heard many bad things about the people he has used in the past, he might be an idiot, but the biggest crime is the people taking advantage of that.

That's completely badass that he put Chopper in the videos. You guys must have really struck a nerve with the thug. I need to dig up those threads now.

Haze, you are exactly right, I had the same idea you did. I was more pokin fun at Uncle Money bags for paying what he did for what he got, which included MAME and ROMs in 1 prepaid package and him thinking that because MarioKart was on the HyperSpin menu that MAME ran it.

Hey guys,
thought I had apologized many times before for my control panel freak out, but I'll say it again, I'm sorry and you guys were right and helped save my build.
I know that Mario Kart is being run through an N64 emulator, so my bad for saying MAME.
Still surprised nobody running Mario Kart has seen or diagnosed this issue. But I'll try replacing the ROM with the Euro version to see if that works. If anyone wants to help me try this, I'd appreciate it. I've watched a bunch of videos and google searched how to do it...doesn't seem to hard, but always prefer someone who has done it to help me learn.
I'm really sorry guys that I don't know much about this stuff. I'm working 12 hour days just to earn enough money to be able to play around with this hobby. I'm a newbie and was so uninformed 4 months ago when I started my build.
For those of you who want to keep on flaming me with each post, that's up to you...I'm just a nice guy in NYC who wants to play games with people who enjoy them. everyone who comes over loves and freaks out over the pedestal. You have to remember 99% of people don't even know what MAME/Hyperspin is...
Much love...
