| Jamma Harness Question - Noob building first Bartop |
| (1/1) |
| Gluyys:
Hey all, I am a noob here and have been working on my first Bartop Build. It is a simple Jamma 60-1 multi-cade, figured I would start small and work my way up to bigger and better games. But to the point, there are a lot of wires on the Jamma harness that I am not using (like coin door, 2 player buttons, ect.). And in an attempt to conserve space and make wiring my cab easier. I was wondering if it is okay to disconnect the extra wires (disconnect the pins out of the harness, not just cut them off). I can't really see much being wrong with this. But I figured I would ask to make sure I don't mess anything up before I start disconnecting a bunch of extra wires. I appreciate anyone's help! And if you have a sweet bartop build that you completed recently, I wouldn't mind a link to check out your work also! Thank you, -Tyler |

Snip away, you could always re solder if needed. My last 3 jamma projects have left me with so much left over wire, next projects I'm just gonna order up some edge connectors and make my own. good day. |

Thank you very much for the quick reply! Yeah, only need maybe 1/4 of the wire in the harness lol |
