looks wise, the front loading NES is far more iconic than the top loader.

I like #2, I would ditch mario though and incorporate the toaster like Malenko suggests.  I think it would go good with the rest of the hardware pictured in that one.

You can convert gif to swf using "any video converter" or something similar.
