We all did get a bit spoiled when the first multi level games came out, it was all glitz and bang for awhile.. Some impressive stuff. But playing some old tables and trying to get a free ball, free play etc.. took some complicated shooting quite often and was quite rewarding once you could do it. I know I had a FAROUT (2player- 74) and a Black Knight (sad story I sold um both, the end... very sad, tearing up right now thinking about it).. strange as it was.. once we made high score the thing to beat (we had a clipboard) Farout was far harder to score big in then Black Night.. somebody was constantly beating the Black knight.. but the Farout record stood for months.. hence it was the most played, maybe the competition made it great, but it got played far more.
now im
i sold my PINS!!!!!!!! dang it.. where is a time machine when you need it? fix those Important bad choices.. keep my pins, keep my first 4 arcade games.. bough that Tutenkaman, good gosh, bought that Tempest Mini for $500 which i thought was outrageous. Change my mind about the Mini's i had.. lived in a apartment so they seemed to make sense.. but in the end, oh no, I needed the BIG MACHINES.. oh to change that decision and kept the mini's...
