It's a good concept, but having some of that waterproof led strips stuff - I'd imagine feeding the length along the entire length of the t-molding channel would be a nightmare. Guess brainstorming some ideas:

- oil
- do it in sections
- use the non-waterproof stuff - thinner profile
- fiber-optic cable?

also, using that channel router bit around your cab sides is gonna take a really steady hand!

Love the concept though, especially with these mutli-colour strips you can get - cab edges with cycling colours! how cool would that be? Mood Cabs :)

How about contacting your T-molding supplier. Surely you could order some prior to being coated?

Looks like a couple manufacturers have beaten you to it. Personally I think it looks tacky.
