Hey guys,
Had someone ask me if I can build them this specific cabinet... it requires 2-3 wheels that must have 360 degree spinning capabilities...
Could I just buy pc wheel and configure it in mame?

Nope.  Even the ones that spin 900 degrees won't work.
You need wheels that turn endlessly.
It's either use original arcade parts or a spinner with a steering wheel adapter.
Being that this is being built for someone else and a spinner wasn't made to be treated like an arcade wheel, I'd go with the original arcade parts.

How about these? I've played super sprint with the tt2 and wheel and it works.

As others have pointed out, you need a 360/spinner wheel to play those type of games. Super Sprint, Ivan Stewart's Super Off Road, Pole Position etc.
I ended up getting a Pole Position wheel, so I could play those classics.
I got a new reproduction optical board from,

Then I use Randy's Opti-Wiz interface from GGG, for the Pole Position wheel.

If they do not want to go with Pole Position wheels, use the happ 360 wheels for the cabinet. The cheapest place I could ever find them was here.

divemaster from arcade emulator sells them also.

but if you look around, you can find a good shape Pole Position wheel, as I have.  Those happ wheels are very nice also. I just wanted a classic wheel, that I grew up playing on. :D
