I can only attest to monitors I've purchased, but keep an eye out on eBay for these models:
Samsung SyncMaster 214T
Dell Ultrasharp 2001FP

+1 for the Dell 2001FP.  178 viewing angle all around, rotateable, and has DVI, VGA, Svid, and composite inputs.   :applaud:

If you aren't interested in those, then the only perk is multiple monitor games in MAME.  :dunno

Widescreens can rotate.  It just takes a wide-ass cabinet.  :P

I probably thought why pay more for less pixels, when I can just hide the extra on the sides behind the bezel graphics.
