Control Panel Questions
spratkobasa:
Hi Everyone,
My setup has 4 u360 sticks and 1 ipac4. I was wondering what kind of "fasteners/mount/?" do you use to screw the ipac to the MDF (in my case 3/4 inch MDF). Also what size and type of screws are you using for screwing wires or other parts to the underneath side of your control panel?
I am also trying to figure out which usb hub to get for my control panel. My plan right now is to get a 7 port usb 2 hub and have 3 extra hubs for charging wii or other types of controllers. I read that some die out quick (I want one to last for a long time). Are there any USB hubs that you recommend for my setup?
Cheers

These along with zip ties will work fine for your cables. And I used these for my iPac and motherboard in my weecade. As far as your USB hub is concerned just do a quick search on your favorite marketplace website (amazon etc.) and sort your search by user review. This way you have something being feild tested by others and you don't have to worry about getting bit in the ass.

Speaking of PCB feet, is anyone using them to mount their mainboard? Are the screws the right size for that?

Those seem really high in the air. This may be a dumb question but why do we need mount the ipac at all? Why not screw it directly into the MDF? I have been checking out amazon but so far the reviews are a mixed bag on the quality of the reviews. I'm concerned about the ID changing issues some other people have had on the forums with MAME due to USB hubs.

Plug it in once. Leave it there. Problem solved.
