Donkey Kong Jr screen issues. Sync?
« on: November 11, 2013, 02:52:26 pm »
G'day guys.
I finally got round to wiring up my dkjr board and testing it. Seems fine except for a sync issue. Best described with a pic;

This pic is taken after I figured out I had left the monitor ground off (part of the rgb loom).
I connected the ground on dkjr, which is right next to the rgb group of pinouts, to the monitor ground. It got better, but not cool at all. After that I also connected to a power supply ground too, which brings me to the image above.
It constantly rolls, and also has I guess, image bleed?

The monitor and chassis work great on my other boards.

And yes I know it's inverted output. I'll mod it after I suss the wiring out.

Cheers!
