| T-Molding slot depth |

Does the slot for the T-Molding have to go deeper than the barb on the T-Molding will go? Looks like a slot cutter cuts deeper than the barb, but I may be wrong. If it is deeper, is there any reason for this? |

I know on the high end slot cutters you can adjust the depth of the slot by changing out bearing sizes. |

It doesn't really need to be deeper then the barbs, but if you're lazy like me and don't clean out the slot before putting in the molding by having a deeper slot you have room for all the mfd fluff to get pushed in. |
