Sorry, should have been more clear. I only had about 3 or 4 chds for my mame 124. I have a different set of many more chds labeled as 149 chd. I was just wondering if these would work with mame 150 or if I have to do something to them to upgrade them. I'm not even sure how many I'll actually use, probably not that many. I'd like to get killer instinct 2 working at least. I've seen reference to v4 and v5 chd files, but I don't know how those related to different versions if mame. I updated mine this week using ROM vault: http://www.romvault.com. The author is focusing on improving CHD updating support in his recent version. It's way easier to use than ClrMAME pro. It was a snap. To answer your question: Yes, the CHD files do need to be updated to .150. However, a lot has changed (I had MAME .147), so when I was all set and done with ROM Vault, I only had something like 34% of the needed CHD files after it renamed everything. However, it was a start since 34% of over 200+GB is a pretty decent start. DeLuSioNaL29 |

It may update the ones that you need. Here's a video of it in action (the author created this video) http://www.youtube.com/embed/yUOIYYbZuAg DeLuSioNaL29 |
