You may need to change the audio output on the Pi as I think it's set to HDMI as default, you can choose one of two audio outputs on RaspberryPi using amixer command. You can use one of three modes: 0=auto, 1=analog, 2=hdmi, like this: sudo amixer cset numid=3

Me either, had to find the specific adapter for it (12V 2A) and couldn't find it anywhere locally.

Thanks for the information about the Lepai amp. I'm also using a Pi, so this may be the solution I'm looking for.
