| Mounting controller ports |
| (1/1) |
| Tropps:
I was hoping to get some advice or ideas on mounting some controller ports on my cabinet. Basically, on the front on my bartop I'm going to mount a SNES USB port ( --- End quote --- ), two N64 ports by exension cables ( --- End quote --- ), two PS1 ports, and then some USB ports. I'm struggling with how to make this look nice. I'm not the greatest woodworker so I worry then I cut or route the holes they won't look that good and I don't know how I'll "clean them up". I wish the ports were more like actual Nintendo 64 ports with had that flat overlay of sorts. This is the only thing I've found so far from a previous thread (https://sites.google.com/site/mikeyo1dog/projects/retro-nintendo-pc) Any ideas on this? Thanks! |

Given your confessed woodworking skills and the number/variety of ports, you may want to consider getting a laser-cut faceplate from Laseriffic (pinball guys use their PETG products IIRC) or 3-D printed one from Shapeways. Scott |
