Linux Bootable Game Disc
« on: September 10, 2013, 12:53:45 pm »
I am still working on my arcade game and want to create a bootable Linux disc that auto starts my game when inserted as sort of a tech demo. Does anyone know how to go about accomplishing it?

Sincerely,

Quacker Blaster

There are ready made bootable arcade cd's.
You could also install Linux, emulators, a frontend (wahcade in my case) and have it autostart.

Core2 duo8400 @3.6 Ghz, 4Gb of mem, Geforce 9500.
Linux Mint 17.3 XFCE, Mame, Mess, Daphne FS-Uae, Mednafen and some more.

Sorry, i didn't quite explain it correctly. I want to create my own custom Linux disc that "arcade owners"  :laugh2: could pop in to any PC based cabinet. When they do it loads and runs my own game sort of how they work nowadays.  :lol Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

I like this Idea. I wish I could help but my last two attempts with MAME and UBUNTU failed horribly.
