| Anyone fitted Contactors inside cp for pinball buttons? |
| (1/1) |
| Connorsdad:
I was wondering whether to fit Contactors inside my cp for feedback when the pinball flipper buttons are pressed. Has anybody done this ? If so could you recommend which Contactors to purchase please. Sent from Amstrad CPC464 |

No idea but from title my mind thought you wanted to put contactors in your control panel so that when you were playing a game hitting regualar buttons it would have a heavy tactile feedback. Loud as hell I am sure. |

lol title changed :) |

The Virtual Pinball cab guys do this (along with a lot of other mods). Though, I think they use solenoids, not contactors. Here's a decent thread over at the Hyperspin Forums. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?9299-Solenoids-vs-Relays |
| PL1:
Martijn is using contactors in his MultiBall Madness II build and Maximus is using them in his Alchemy build . Video of solenoids and discussion of contactors vs. solenoids starting here. TL;DR version: most contactors use 12v, most pinball solenoids use 48v or more. Scott |
