Taitorama based cabinet - RETROCADE - Completed
« on: August 25, 2013, 01:08:50 am »
Hey everybody,

I've been lurking on this site for the last couple months while building my Taitorama clone and I figured I would post the finished photos and the work in progress images.

As this was something I had never really done before I was reluctent to post anything until it was all finished, for better or worse. I built the entire thing inside the living room and small balcony of my 600 square foot apartment. It's based of koenigs Taitorama but with some minor changes and with a wooden CP instead of a metal one.

Enjoy!

You made that in a 600 sq ft apartment? I am impressed! I'm attempting something similar in a slightly larger space.

Great job!

A simple yet stunning cab, awesome work.

What joystick did you end up using? Just curious, doing research for my own build.

Future Projects: Galaxian Anniversary, Mario VS DK, Rebirth

Well my friend I wish you had let us go along on this journey with you. That being said. Your Cab is stunning. Some really good lines, I love the control panel. I love how you haven't tried to over complicate the build, it looks the dogs my friend. Great Great work.

One question. how did you get the nice lines on the control panel plexi glass. is it laser cut?.

Next time you build something let us see it as you go along. Please. :applaud: :applaud:

Great Job... :notworthy:
