I bought the I5 setup (he one below the portable one).. and I am overly surprised! It runs, Dreamcast, Naomi, Modeler, all retro consoles, PSX, Majority of mame including Carnevil, NFL Blitz, Cruisin USA full speed! Heck I even tried PS2 and Contra ran perfect!! I haven't tried any other PS2 games yet but the PS2 was very smooth!

I am very happy with my purchase and plan on buying a second one.  Anyone in Canada do not worry about shipping etc.. I received mine with only $40 duty/taxes extra. (that is very low)

Item is as described and beyond! Seller is fantastic and was very helpful to me! (even now after transaction is over!)

I just got my "portable".
It is an incredible value.  The laptop is in very good shape with a few cosmetic scratched (that is totally normal) on the outside case.  The machine itself is clean and works perfectly.  Jump on these people...it's a good laptop.

I bought one of the 5450's originally, and when overclocking it some, it was able to speed up games like street fighter 4, but I think I'm going to get one of the r7 250's since it seems the best price to performance card for these computers.   You just have to make sure you go into the bios first and change the video option from the onboard to pci-express, then install the card and software/driver.

Yeah that's what I hate about Amazon -- they sometimes update prices several times a day if an item starts selling they increase the price based on popularity of the item sometimes even when you have the item in the cart it will change before you can check out.

I dunno if they've changed the algorithms but the best is private sellers through Amazon using bots to manipulate price.  I remember seeing some random no-name books that two bots got into a pissing match over that were listed for $100k, stuff like that.  I remember reading that Amazon actually tracks purchasing habits/history to the point that they will preemptively ship products to regional distribution centers because they know what you're going to buy before you buy it.

Them Amazon folks r smart! I feel like within 20 years we'll be telepathically linked to Amazon and if we think "dammit I'm out of hand sanitizer" there's going to be a huge cannon in Seattle that's already launching a case directly onto our front porch before we can blink.

I got my sapphire r7 250 video card in today and put it into one of the basic pc's from the OP, and man, what a difference.   the 5450 and 6450 were a step up from the onboard graphics, but once I installed the r7 250, I saw how much better the more graphic intensive games ran.   I played street fighter 4, and it was much faster than either the 5450 or 6450 before.

If you all are going to upgrade video cards, I would definitely go with either the 7750 or the r7 250 (I think they are fairly close, the r7 being cheaper though).   

The only issue I ran into was that the sapphire card had a micro hdmi port instead of a full size one.   It came with the adapter cable, but if not in just the right position, the video would cut out.   Not sure if it's the port itself not making good contact, or the adapter cable.   Either way, I would go with one that has a full size HDMI port on the card just to avoid that issue.   This visiontek one has a full size hdmi :

They weren't worthless previously.   They have been a very good deal throughout, even if someone just wanted a basic internet browsing pc.    As a gaming system, it depends on what all games you like to play.    Saying it the way you did is disrespectful to the OP who is giving us an excellent deal on these pc's.   

As I mentioned though, it's a huge upgrade with this video card, and if previously reported posts stated GL ran well on medium on the onboard video, I can't imagine it wouldn't run flawlessly with this card.    I will check the game out that you are dying to know about though so you can have peace of mind.

No see, I got an actual Gauntlet Legends PCB as part of a package deal, I got it specifically to sell to PBJ for what I paid for it. He didn't want it, I sold it for profit so it was no big deal. But that's when I stopped really caring about getting him the game or a system to run it. I only ran GL on the previous system so others could see and maybe a little to try and motivate Jim to buy one.

If he loved the game that much he'd have bought the PCB, or burned/bought the Dreamcast version, XBOX version, PS2 version, or play the MAME Rom in standard res.

That being said, TK, I just paypalled you for 4 more systems.
